Turning Struggles Into Strength - One Step at a Time
WELCOME TO HIKING OUT OF DARKNESS
This is not a travel log.
It’s a requiem for the broken, a love letter to the lost,
and a resurrection born of blistered feet and borrowed time.
I am walking the Appalachian Trail—not to be found,
but to remember who I was before the world undid me.
Before addiction.
Before grief.
Before my only lifeline had four legs and a heartbeat
and left this world before I was ready to let go.
This is a story of madness, of mourning,
of what it means to walk toward the light
when all you’ve ever known is shadow.
If you’ve ever screamed into the void and heard nothing back—
I’m walking for you, too.
MY PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT

My mission is to turn pain into purpose, to face down the darkness I’ve lived through, and to walk forward not as a victim — but as proof that healing is messy, raw, and possible. I am here to speak for the silent, to fight for the broken, and to live a life that reminds others they are not alone. I walk to shed the weight I was never meant to carry — and to help others do the same.
